Pretrial Release Opposition Resolution Recommendation: Board approve resolution that declares any opposition to any proposed legislation designed to modify, alter, or otherwise restrict judges' ability to release defendants to the supervision of the Bay County Pretrial Release program, without regard to defendants' financial status.
Eight County Joint Resolution #2 Recommendation: Board consider the attached Joint Resolution of the Coastal Counties of the Northwest Florida Panhandle Region relating to the Deepwater Horizon Oil Spill in the Gulf of Mexico and; Authorize the Chairman to execute the same if the Board supports the concepts outlined in the resolution.
Cisco SMARTnet Contract Award Recommendation: Board to award and authorize the Chairman to execute a five-year contract with Inacomp Data & Voice to provide on-going maintenance, technical support, and repair services for Cisco products.
Amend Golf Cart Code - Callaway Recommendation; Board to hold a public hearing to consider and adopt an ordinance amending Article II of Chapter 24 of the Bay County Code, allowing the operation of golf carts on certain county roads within the City of Callaway.
Goodwill Industries TEFRA Hearing Recommendation: Board (1) conduct TEFRA hearing and (2) consider and adopt the proposed Resolution and Financing Agreement for the issuance of up to $22,000,000 (Series 2011) in conduit private activity tax-exempt financing for Goodwill Industries Big Bend, Inc., and authorize the Chairman to execute the financing documents.
COPCN Procedures Ordinance Recommendation: Board consider public input and adopt attached ordinance establishing the procedures for review of applications for Certificates of Public Convenience and Necessity.
