Law Library Board Appointment Recommendation: Board appoint an attorney to fill the vacancy on the Bay County Law Library Board to serve the remaining term, for the seat vacated by Brian Leebrick, expiring in May 2013.
Adopt Resolution for Project Fox QTI Tax Refund Support Request Recommendation: Board adopt a resolution to provide 20% local matching funds for $24,000 for Project Fox’s Florida Quality Target Industry Tax Refund (QTI) application. Project Fox is applying for Florida’s Qualified Target Industry Tax Refund program in the amount of $120,000.
LAP w/FDOT for Design of Wildwood Road Sidewalk Project Recommendation: Board: 1) Approve the Local Agency Program (LAP) Agreement with the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) for the Design of the Wildwood Road Sidewalk Project; and, 2) Authorize the Chairman to sign the agreement and resolution. The Florida Department of Transportation has appropriated funding for the design of a sidewalk on Wildwood Road from S.R. 30A (U.S. 98) to Big Daddy Drive
LAP w/FDOT for State Avenue Bike Lane Project Recommendation: Board: 1) Approve the Local Agency Program (LAP) Agreement with the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) for the Design of the State Avenue Bike Lane Project; and, 2) Authorize the Chairman to sign the agreement and resolution. The Florida Department of Transportation has appropriated funding for the design of Bike Lanes on State Avenue from S.R. 390 to Baldwin Road.
Inter-local Agreement for Aaron Bessant Park Amphitheater Recommendation: Board accept the TDC’s recommendation of approval of the inter-local agreement between the BOCC and City of Panama City Beach for the purpose of making improvements to Aaron Bessant Park; and authorize the Chairman to execute this agreement.
Amend Lake Merial Development Agreement Recommendation: Board to conduct a quasi-judicial public hearing to consider a request to amend an amended Development Agreement between Bay County and Lake Merial Development Corporation, Inc. Subject property located on the east side of State Route 77 at its intersection with Lake Merial Boulevard, Sand Hills area.
LPA W of Resota Beach Road – W Terminus of Frederickson Street Recommendation: Board to conduct a public hearing on a proposal for a Large Scale Amendment to the Comprehensive Plan Future Land Use Map and decide whether to adopt, adopt with changes, or not adopt the large-scale comprehensive plan amendment Application No. LPA 11-01B, located in the Southport area, west of Resota Beach Road at the western terminus of Frederickson Street.
LPA W of SR 79 – S Shore of Intercoastal Waterway Recommendation: Board to conduct a public hearing on a proposal for a Large Scale Amendment to the Comprehensive Plan Future Land Use Map and decide whether to adopt, adopt with changes, or not adopt the large-scale comprehensive plan amendment Application No. LPA 11-01A, located in the West Bay area, west of SR 79 and abutting the south shore of the Intracoastal waterway.
LPA N and S Sides of Allanton Road Recommendation: Board to conduct a public hearing on a proposal for a Large Scale Amendment to the Comprehensive Plan Future Land Use Map and decide whether to adopt, adopt with changes, or not adopt the large-scale comprehensive plan amendment, Application No. LPA 11-01C, located in the East Bay area, on the north and south sides of Allanton Road.
Redistricting County Commissioner Districts Recommendation: Board to conduct a public hearing to consider a proposed resolution redistricting the County Commission districts based on changes in the 2010 census.
Amend Solid Waste Management Policy Manual Recommendation: Board adopt a resolution amending the Bay County Solid Waste Management Policy Manual.
