Appoint Members to County Construction Board Recommendation: Board to appoint members of County Construction Board. Each commissioner shall appoint one member, who if possible should be an electrical contractor, mechanical contractor, building contractor, plumbing contractor or layperson.
Reconstitute Code Enforcement Board Recommendation: Board to appoint members of the Code Enforcement Board. Each commissioner shall appoint one member, who if possible should be an architect, business person, engineer, general contractor, subcontractor, realtor or a citizen. Two members of the code enforcement board should be selected by the entire board to serve at large who if possible should be an architect, business person, engineer, general contractor, subcontractor, realtor or a citizen.
WTP Work Squad Contract Recommendation: Board approve and authorize the Chairman to execute a one (1) year contract, subject to a one (1) year renewal with the Florida Department of Corrections to provide one (1) inmate squad, with a correctional officer, to be utilized for general labor in various departments/divisions of the Utility Services.
Amend Bay County Code – Chapter 4 – Animal Control Recommendation: Board to conduct public hearing and adopt amendments to Chapter 4 of the Bay County Code regarding Animal Control, prohibiting tampering with traps, cages, and capture devices placed by the Division of Animal Control.
Proposed Large Scale Amendment – Bay Point DRI Recommendation: Board to conduct a public hearing on a proposal for a Large Scale Amendment to the Comprehensive Plan Future Land Use Map to revise the text and maps of the Bay County Comprehensive Plan regarding the Bay Point DRI Special Treatment Zone, and decide whether to adopt, adopt with changes, or not adopt the large scale comprehensive plan amendment, Application LPA 10-DRI.
