Emergency Services 1. Housing Assistance Plan & Citizen’s Participation Plan for 2008 Disasters Recommendation: Board to consider and approve the Housing Assistance Plan (HAP) for the 2008 Disasters and the Citizen’s Participation Plan (CPP) and authorize the Chairman to sign for its transmittal to the Department of Community Development (State). Public Works 2. 2011 Annual Striping Contract Award – Task Order #1 Recommendation: Board: 1) Approve the Task Order for striping of various roadways; and, 2) Authorize staff to issue a Notice to Proceed to Oglesby Construction, Inc. for $135,307.00. Clerk of Circuit Court 3. Revenues & Expenditures Recommendation: Board acknowledge receipt of report.
County Attorney 4. Authorize Administrative Proceedings Against DJJ Recommendation: Board to authorize administrative proceedings against DJJ. The County Attorney believes the rule adopted by DJJ to justify calculation of the amounts counties have to pay is invalid
5. Bear Point Road and Cochran Avenue MSBU Recommendation: Board to adopt amended resolution to approve the voluntary Municipal Services Benefit Unit (MSBU) paving project for the unpaved portions of Bear Point Road and Cochran Avenue utilizing a 60/40 cost-share split with the County paying sixty percent (60%).
6. 180 Hitchcock Road – Clean & Lien Recommendation: Board direct staff to have the trash, debris and derelict vehicles removed from the property, and impose a lien on the property for the costs of cleaning property.
7. 1205 5th Street – Clean & Lien Recommendation: Board direct staff to have the garbage, trash and derelict R/V removed from the property, and impose a lien on the property for the costs of cleaning property.
8. Thomas Drive Pedestrian Facilities Phase IV Contract Award (Dolphin to Spyglass Drives) Recommendation: Board: 1) Award the proposal to GAC Contractors, Inc. with Preble-Rish Engineering, Inc. for $653,347.11 for the Thomas Drive Pedestrian Facilities Project Phase IV – Dolphin Drive to Spyglass Drive; and, 2) Authorize contingency and testing funds for $32,667.00 (5%).
9. 2nd Reading LDR Amendment – Section 1805 – Legal Access Recommendation: Board to conduct a public hearing to consider a proposal to amend Section 1805 of the Land Development Regulations to require proof of legal access prior to issuance of a Development Order.
10. 2nd Reading LDR Amendment – Section 605 C-1 – Add Prohibited Activities Recommendation: Board to conduct a public hearing to consider a proposal to amend the Land Development Regulations to add “Prohibited Activities” to Section 603, “C-1”, Neighborhood Commercial zone district
