County Attorney Agreement Addendum Recommendation: Board to approve the First Addendum to the County Attorney Agreement relating to outside employment and activities.
Project Freckle QTI Tax Refund Match Recommendation: Board to consider authorizing an amount not to exceed $83,000 as 20% local matching funds for Project Freckle under Florida's Qualified Target Industry Tax Refund (QTI) economic incentive program as outlined in Florida Statue 288.106, and adopting the attached resolution approving Project Freckle as a qualified applicant
SAFER Agreement Recommendation: Board authorize the Chairman to approve the Department of Homeland Security Staffing for Adequate Fire and Emergency Response (SAFER) Agreement #EMW-2011-FH-0335. This grant will provide funding for hiring six firefighters.
Gulf Coast Workforce Board Budget/ITA (Individual's Training Accounts) Approval Recommendation: Board approve and authorize the Chairman to sign Board (for Gulf Coast Workforce Board) membership, budget and waiver for Individual Training Accounts
LAP Agreement Magnolia/Delwood Multi-use Path Project Recommendation: Board: 1) Approve the Local Agency Program (LAP) Agreement with the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) for the Design of the Magnolia Beach Road / Delwood Beach Road Multi-Use Path Project; and, 2) Authorize the Chairman to sign the agreement and resolution
Senior Homestead Tax Exemption Renewal Waiver Recommendation: Board to consider adoption of an ordinance amending the Bay County Code Section 14-6, authorizing the waiver of an annual application or statement for ad valorem tax exemption by low income seniors 65 years or over after the initial application has been made and exemption approved by the Property Appraiser.
Treasure Island Marina Development Agreement - 1st Reading Recommendation: Board to conduct a public hearing to consider a proposed Development Agreement between Bay County and Treasure Island Marina, LLC, to facilitate the redevelopment and reconstruction of the Treasure Ship site. Property located on the east side of Thomas Drive between approximately Trelawney and Flint avenues, and south and west of the Grand Lagoon, Panama City Beach.
LPA12-03 Sand Hills Recommendation: Board to conduct a public hearing on a proposal for a Large Scale Amendment to the Comprehensive Plan Future Land Use Map to revise the map of the Bay County Comprehensive Plan, and decide whether to adopt, adopt with changes, or not adopt the large scale comprehensive plan amendment, Application No. LPA 12-03, located in the Sand Hills area, on the west side of the intersection of Highway 20 and Highway 77, Sand Hills Rural Community.
