Settlement Agreement for Wex Tex Holdings, Inc. Recommendation: Board to approve a settlement agreement in the case of Wex Tex Holdings, Inc. era/, v. Bay County and FOOT, Case No. 10-001168-CA. Wex Tex Holdings, Inc. etal. filed a lawsuit against Bay County and FDOT to quiet title in real property proximate to the Grand Lagoon Bridge and for inverse condemnation relating to construction activities during the Thomas Drive/ Grand Lagoon Bridge Project.
Membership and Terms of Appointment to the Public Safety Coordinating Council Recommendation: Board to approve resolution providing for membership and terms of appointment of the Public Safety Coordinating Council. Bay County currently has a Public Safety Coordinating Council ("PSCC"), which is an advisory body required by Florida Statute 951.26. The PSCC's primary purpose is to assess the population status of all detention or correctional facilities in the County and to formulate recommendations to ensure that the capacity of such facilities is not exceeded.
Landscape Maintenance Contract Award Recommendation: Board approve the contract for landscape maintenance service for the Tourist Development Council (RFP No. 12-25) with Southeastern Outdoor Management, Inc. for an annual amount of $132,159 for two years with two additional two (2) year renewals.
Treasure Island Marina Development Agreement - 2nd Reading Recommendation: Board to conduct a second public hearing to consider a proposed Development Agreement between Bay County and Treasure Island Marina, LLC, to facilitate the redevelopment and reconstruction of the Treasure Ship site. Property located on the east side of Thomas Drive between approximately Trelawney and Flint avenues, and south and west of the Grand Lagoon, Panama City Beach.
Small Scale Amendment 14216 Highway 77 Recommendation: Board to conduct a public hearing to consider a proposal and take action on a Small Scale Amendment to the Bay County Comprehensive Plan, Future Land Use Map, Application No. PZ 12-077. The 1.44+/- acre site is located at 14216 Highway 77, in the Sand Hills area.
Zone Change 14216 Highway 77 Recommendation: Board to conduct a quasi-judicial public hearing pursuant to Section 307 of the Land Development Regulations and take action on a proposed zone change, Application No. PZ 12-078.
