Mexico Beach CDC Board Appointment Recommendation: Board review the letter submitted from the Mexico Beach CDC Appointment and approve Mrs. Linda Albrecht for the Mexico Beach City Council seat being vacated by Jack Mullen. 2. SHIP Local Housing Assistance Plan Recommendation: Board consider and approve the State Housing Initiative Partnership (SHIP) Local Housing Assistance Plan (LHAP) prepared for Florida Housing Finance Corporation (FHFC) and resolution. FDOC Animal Control Worksquad Contract Recommendation: Board approve and authorize the Chairman to execute a three (3) year contract (WS1017) with one (1) additional three (3) year renewal period, with the Florida Department of Corrections (FDOC) to provide one (1) inmate squad, with a correctional officer, to be utilized for general labor in the Animal Control Division. World Fiber Technologies, Inc. Recommendation: Board approves and authorizes the County Manager to sign the purchase requisition with World Fiber Technologies, Inc. Public Works 6. FY15 Collector Road Resurfacing Contract Award Recommendation: Board: 1) Award the FY15 Collector Road Resurfacing contract to C.W. Roberts Contracting, Inc. in the amount of $835,900.93; and, 2) Authorize contingency and testing funds in the amount of $83,600.00 (10%). (District I, III and IV) 7. Joan Avenue Sidewalk Contract Award Recommendation: Board: 1) Award a contract to North Florida Construction, Inc. in the amount of $287,630.90 for the Joan Avenue Sidewalk Construction Project; and, 2) Authorize contingency and testing funds in the amount of $23,000 (8%). (District V) Transit 8. Transit/Trip and Equipment Grant Recommendation: Requesting that the Board approve and ratify the Chairman’s signature on the Trip and Equipment Grant for capital equipment request. Clerk’s Report 9. Enrollment of Authorizing Official for RESTORE Act Grant Payments Recommendation: Board to authorize Guy Tunnell, as Chairman of the Commission, to serve as Bay County’s Head of Organization for RESTORE Act Direct Component grants payments.
Bay County RESTORE Act Direct Component Project List Recommendation: Board to approve up to $6 million worth of projects to be funded by RESTORE Act Direct Component funds, and direct staff to draft and present to the Board the Bay County RESTORE Act Multiyear Implementation Plan.
Special Assessments for Clean and Liens and Unsafe Structures Recommendation: Requesting that the Board hold a public hearing and adopt a Final Resolution describing the method of assessing property abatement costs against assessed properties, determining the property abatement costs to be assessed, and establishing the final assessment roll for delinquent clean and liens, and unsafe structure liens.
Bay Head Park Plat ROW Abandonment Recommendation: Board: 1) Conduct a public hearing to consider the abandonment of a portion of unopened right-of-way platted by virtue of the Plat of Bay Head Park; and, 2) If approved, adopt a resolution to abandon; and, 3) Authorize the Clerk of the Court to record the resolution.
