Supervisor of Elections Grant Match Recommendation: Board authorize the Chairman to execute the “Certificate Regarding Matching Funds” for $2,832.06 for the Supervisor of Elections Department of State Grant. 2. Crime Prevention Fund Recommendation: Board approve Sheriff's request for expenditure of monies from the Crime Prevention Fund. Clerks Report 3. Mexico Beach CDC Board Appointments Recommendation: Board review the letter submitted from the Mexico Beach Community Development Council and approve the re-appointments of Mr. Wylie Petty, Mrs. Cathey Hobbs and Ms. Shawna Woods as well as Commissioner Mike Nelson. 5. Confirm CareerSource Gulf Coast Workforce Board Re-appointments Recommendation: Board accept and confirm the recommendation to re-appoint Alisa Kinsaul to the CareerSource Gulf Coast Workforce Board. 6. West Bay Fire Station Lease Agreement Recommendation: Board to approve and authorize the Chairman to sign the attached Lease Agreement for West Bay Fire Station. Public Works 8. Highway Subordinations to FDOT Recommendation: Board: 1) Review and sign the attached agreements and authorizing resolutions to subordinate its utility interests to Florida Department of Transportation at Hwy. 390 and Maine Avenue, and; 2) Authorize the Clerk of the Court to record the same. Limerock Base Materials Contract Recommendation: Board approve and authorize the Chairman to execute a one (1) year contract (Exhibit 1), subject to three additional one-year renewals with Bergeron Materials, LLC to provide Limerock Base Materials to the Roads and Bridges Division. Purchasing Office 10. Budgeted Contracts for Approval 2016 Recommendation: Board approval of contracts for Budget funded entities listed below for the amounts approved in the 2015-2016 budget. 11. Renewal of Recurring Contracts 2016 Recommendation: Board approve renewal of FY2015/2016 recurring county funded contracts for the period of October 1, 2015 through September 30, 2016. 12. Medical Examiner Interlocal Recommendation: Board approve annual interlocal contract for Medical Examiner services provided by Medical Examiner for the 14th Judicial Circuit Counties of Bay, Calhoun, Holmes, Gulf, Jackson and Washington for fiscal year 2015-2016. Utility Services 13. Ferric Sulfate Recommendation: Board approve and authorize the Chairman to execute contract, with three (3) one-year renewal options with Kemira Water Solutions, Inc., for the supply of Ferric Sulfate for the Water Treatment Plant.
Community Development LPA 15-06 Adoption Hearing Highway 77 & 388 Recommendation: Board to conduct a public hearing on a proposal for a Large Scale Amendment to the Comprehensive Plan Future Land Use Map, and decide whether to adopt, adopt with changes, or not adopt the large scale comprehensive plan amendment, Application No. LPA 15-06. Located on the east side of Highway 77, north of Edwards Road and south of Highway 388. (District IV)
Adoption PZ -15-119 Rezoning Highway 77 & 388 Recommendation: Board conduct a quasi-judicial public hearing pursuant to Section 307 of the Land Development Regulations and take action on a proposed zone change, Application No. PZ 15-119. Located on the east side of Highway 77, north of Edwards Road and south of Highway 388. (District IV)
County Attorney Amendment to Motor Scooter Ordinance Recommendation: Board to conduct a public hearing, consider and approve proposed amendments to Chapter 24, Traffic, Article III, Motorcycle, Motor scooter and Moped Rentals, Section 24-91 to redefine the term “motor scooter” and Section 24-97, which would amend the County’s insurance requirement for motor scooter rental businesses to match the amount required by the City of Panama City Beach.
