WE STILL GOT SIDEWALKS AND BENCHES AND, YOU KNOW, SHADED STRUCTURES THAT HAVE TO GO IN. BUT THAT WAS THE FIRST IMPLEMENTATION THERE FOR THAT PLAYGROUND. THIS IS THE ONE THAT'S GOING TO BE AT HARDEST PARK. I BELIEVE WE'RE A FEW WEEKS OUT FROM THEM ACTUALLY STARTING THAT. I KNOW THEY'VE ORDERED MATERIALS. SO WE KNOW THERE WAS MORE IN THE ROOM THAT WE HAD, I THINK 100, A LITTLE OVER 100 CHAIRS, AND WE KNOW WE HAD TO GO GET THEM ALL. THAT WAS IN THE ENTIRE BUILDING, AND WE USED ALL THE CHAIRS. SO WE DID ADD SOME BASKETBALL COURTS. WE DID ADD PICKLE COURTS TO PICKLEBALL COURTS. AND THEN THERE'S A PLAYGROUND THAT IS THE COUNTY IS WORKING ON NOW.ACTUALLY I THINK IT'S DONE NOW ISN'T IT. YEAH. THAT OCCURS RIGHT HERE. AND THEN BELOW THAT WE ADDED A PARKING LOT AND WE'VE SHOWN IT AS BEING UNPAVED. WE DO HAVE TO BE CAREFUL WITH STORMWATER BECAUSE THIS SITE IS IT IS TOP LOAD WHEN IT WAS FOR THE GOLF COURSE. IT IS TOPO TO DRAIN. BUT IT DOES HAVE DRAINAGE ISSUES AND IT'S DRAIN. IT'S MADE TO DRAIN INTO THE PONDS. SO THE MORE IMPERVIOUS WE ADD, OF COURSE WE'RE GOING TO HAVE TO DEAL WITH STORMWATER AND TREAT STORMWATER. IT'S GOING TO BE HARD TO DIG STORMWATER PONDS OUT THERE. SO WE'VE TRIED TO MINIMIZE IMPERVIOUS AREAS OR PERVIOUS AREAS THE BEST WE CAN WITH, YOU KNOW, MORE PERVIOUS THAN IMPERVIOUS. THIS IS CURRENTLY A DIRT ROAD THAT CONNECTS BACK OVER TO. HARDERS PARK AND IS OUR NORTH SOUTH DIVIDING LINE. AND THEN WE ALSO INCORPORATED THE MULTI-PURPOSE FIELDS. AND THEN WE DID ADD BECAUSE UTILIZING THIS WAS AN OLD GOLF COURSE, WE DID ADD AND WE'VE HEARD A LOT, YOU KNOW, SOME COMMENTS ABOUT PEOPLE WANTING DRIVING RANGE, WANTING A, YOU KNOW, A PRACTICE FIELD OR EXECUTIVE FIELD, A SMALLER GOLF COURSE, SOMETHING, YOU KNOW, BACK OUT HERE BECAUSE THERE'S NOTHING ON THIS SIDE OF TOWN. SO WE DID ADD IN UTILIZING THE EXISTING HOLES THAT ARE THERE TODAY. WE DID ADD IN A GOLF COURSE THAT COULD HAVE IT COULD BE FOR PRACTICE, BUT IT WOULD HAVE SIX SIX HOLES, FIVE, YOU KNOW, 5 OR 6 HOLES IN IT UTILIZING THE EXISTING HOLES THAT ARE THE EXISTING TERRAIN AND TOPOGRAPHY OUT THERE FOR THE HOLES. SO THAT ACTUALLY WORKED OUT. IT FIT IN REALLY WELL. CROSS COUNTRY DOES, YOU KNOW, CROSS THROUGH IT AND RUN THROUGH IT. THEY DO CROSS THROUGH PART OF THE DISC GOLF TO WHICH THEY DO TODAY ALSO. AND THEN WE ALSO TRIED TO TAKE, YOU KNOW, THERE'S A LOT OF THE CART PATHS FROM THE OLD GOLF COURSE, A LOT OF PAVED TRAILS OUT THERE, AND WE'VE TRIED TO INCORPORATE THEM INTO FOR WALKING TRAILS AND BE ABLE TO UTILIZE IN THE, IN THE OVERALL TRAIL SYSTEM. SO THOSE ARE DENOTED IN HERE AND SHOWN ON THIS MASTER PLAN AS PART OF THE TRAIL SYSTEM. WE HEARD A LOT FROM THE RC BOAT, THE RADIO CONTROL BOAT. PEOPLE THAT UTILIZE THIS AREA UP HERE. WHAT WE DID WAS ADD A PARKING LOT UP THERE AND THAT COULD BE USED FOR BOTH THE ANYBODY WANTING TO USE THE LAKE. THE LITTLE POND UP THERE FOR FISHING CAN BE USED FOR THE RC PEOPLE, OR IT COULD BE USED FOR ANYBODY THAT'S WANTING TO ACCESS, YOU KNOW, THE NORTHERN PART OF THE PARK ITSELF. SO WE DID WE ADDED A BATHROOM UP THERE AND A PARKING LOT UP THERE. AND THEN. OH, THE FITNESS STATION. SO ONE OF THE THINGS THAT CAME UP TOO WAS IN THESE TRAILS. SEVERAL PEOPLE HAD NOTED THAT THEY WANTED TO SEE FITNESS STATIONS MIXED IN WITH THE TRAILS WHERE YOU HAVE EXERCISE EQUIPMENT THROUGH THE TRAILS. SO WE DID ADD THESE. YOU'LL SEE THESE LITTLE LOOK LIKE ASTERISKS. THESE ARE THE DIFFERENT FITNESS TRAILS THAT ARE WORKED IN, OR THE FITNESS STATIONS THAT ARE WORKED INTO THE TRAIL SYSTEM. AND THEN WE DID ALSO ADD THE MOUNTAIN BIKE COURSE THAT WOULD GO THROUGH.AND THIS WOULD ALSO SERVE NOT ONLY AS A MOUNTAIN BIKE, BUT ALSO FOR ANYBODY WANTING TO WALK OR WALK THROUGH NATURE. THESE AREAS ARE MORE WOODED. SO WE DID BRING IN SOME OF THESE ARE EXISTING TRAILS A DAY, BUT WE DID BRING IN THROUGH THE MORE WOODED AREA. SOME OF IT RUNS DOWN, YOU KNOW, ADJACENT TO THE WETLAND AREAS, SOME TRAILS FOR MOUNTAIN BIKING AND FOR, YOU KNOW, ANYBODY WANTING TO WALK OR TO RUN OUT THERE. AND THEN WE DO HAVE THREE CONNECTIONS IN THE HARDEST PART, ACTUALLY, FOR BECAUSE YOU HAVE THE, THE DIRT ROAD, ALSO THE MAIN ROAD ON THE BOTTOM.
