AND THEN ALSO IF YOU LOOK AT THE MAP WHERE THE OLD SPOTS WERE, THAT'S ACTUALLY A GRILL AREA, A PLAYGROUND, SHUFFLEBOARD COURTS, A BASKETBALL COURT, AND ALL OF, YOU KNOW, A GOOD BIT OF THE AMENITIES THAT ACTUALLY ARE COMPLETELY BLOCKED FOR OWNERS TO BE ABLE TO GO OVER THERE TO IT. AND WHERE WE MOVED THEM TO IS ACTUALLY CLOSER TO THE BEACH THAN CAROLINE. YOU KNOW, I HATE TO SIT HERE AND BE TELLING ON OTHERS, BUT I GUESS THE THING IS, SINCE WE'RE PUT ON THE SPOT, CAROLINE ONLY HAS NINE PLACES AND TWO OF THEM ARE HANDICAPPED, SO THEY REALLY ONLY HAVE SEVEN. ESSENTIALLY, YOU KNOW, THAT ARE GOING TO BE MOSTLY USED AND WE ARE CLOSER TO THE BEACH THAN THEM. AND THEN, I MEAN, YOU GO UP AND DOWN THIS BEACH, YOU'VE GOT SPLASH, WHICH THERE'S THERE ACROSS THE STREET ON THE NORTH SIDE OF FRONT BEACH ROAD. AND SO WE'RE ACTUALLY PROBABLY MORE ACCOMMODATING THAN ANY OTHER [00:20:02] COMPLEX OR ANY OTHER BEACH ACCESS ON THIS BEACH WHEN IT COMES DOWN TO, YOU KNOW, HAVING ROVING SECURITY, ESSENTIALLY LOOKING AFTER THEM ALSO. AND LIKE WE WERE SAYING, WHEN IT CAME DOWN TO ANY KIND OF HANDICAPPED PERSON, THEY WERE RIDE THEM IN THE GOLF CART TO THE BEACH ACCESS. AND IT SOUNDS LIKE THAT WE'VE GOTTEN ALL THE PERMISSIONS, BUT I DIDN'T KNOW THERE WAS THIS LAST LITTLE HICCUP. SO I WANT TO MAKE SURE I UNDERSTAND WHERE THE EXISTING ONES ARE. AND THEN IT REALLY KIND OF GIVES EVERYBODY ACCESS TO CAMP HELEN STATE PARK, WHICH I'M A LITTLE SURPRISED THAT THEY JUST DON'T GO RIGHT ACROSS THAT SHORT LITTLE BRIDGE. YOU GO OVER THERE TO CAMP HELEN STATE PARK, AND INSTEAD OF COMING HOME, IF IT'S THE MOST USED, WHY WOULD WE MOVE IT? WHY WOULD WE MAKE IT MORE INCONVENIENT FOR OUR RESIDENTS TO BE ABLE TO GO TO THE BEACH? WELL, WE HAVE AN ISSUE NOW BECAUSE WE HAVE ONLY THE TEN SPOTS. BUT THEN YOU SEE THE NEW DEVELOPMENT ACROSS THE STREET FROM US. I KNOW IT WAS JUST THEY CAROLINE GOT LAWYERS AND HAD IT TAKEN DOWN, BUT THIS IS WHERE EVERYBODY ADVERTISES IS THE BEACH ACCESS. SO NOW WE'VE GOT A LINE OF DENYING. AFTER SPEAKING WITH MR. LIEBREICH NOW HE CAME TO OUR PROPERTY, IT WAS EASY FOR HIM TO GET TO OURS. NOT SO EASY TO GET TO THE OTHER ONE BECAUSE THAT'S WHERE EVERYBODY KNOWS IS PINNACLE PORT. SO NOW IT LOOKS LIKE WE'RE TURNING AROUND EVERYBODY BECAUSE WE ARE. WE HIT TEN SPOTS, NOT THIS VERY SECOND WHILE WE'RE OPEN TO THIS. BUT AFTER WE HIT TEN SPOTS, WHICH IS THE FIRST HOUR OF THE DAY, WE'RE TURNING AROUND 70 PEOPLE ALL DAY LONG. AND THEN YOU GUYS GET REPORTS, JUST LIKE HE TOLD ME, THAT YOU'RE TURNING THEM AROUND WHERE WE ARE, THE ONES THAT ARE BEING ADVERTISED ON THE ENTIRE GULF COAST AS THE BEST BEACH ACCESS. WELL, THAT'S NICE, BUT NOW WE'RE TURNING AROUND 70 PEOPLE A DAY, AND THAT'S NOT AN OVEREXAGGERATION. THAT'S A REAL THING THAT WE'RE TURNING AROUND THAT MANY PEOPLE BECAUSE WE ARE THE MOST CONVENIENT. AND THAT'S WHERE EVERYBODY SENDS THEIR PEOPLE. SO WE ARE THE PUBLIC BEACH ACCESS, THOUGH WE ARE A PRIVATE RESORT, AND WE TRY TO DO WHAT WE, YOU KNOW, OUR HONOR, OUR WE GOT THE TEN SPOTS. LIKE I SAID, HE CAN BECAUSE HE'S THE ONE THAT TOLD ME THIS. IT WAS VERY EASY TO GET TO OUR SPOTS. AND YOU CAME THERE THE OTHER DAY. WAS WAS IT A HASSLE? BUT IT WAS VERY SIMPLE. YEAH. TRY THAT WITH THE NEIGHBORS. IT'S IT'S NOT THAT EASY. AND THERE'S A CODES THING AND EVERYTHING AND YOU GOTTA WALK FURTHER THAN THIS. THE PROBLEM IS ANOTHER ADDITIONAL PROBLEM IS THAT SWIMMING POOLS NOW THE PUBLIC POOL OF SOME PEOPLE I DON'T KNOW, THEIR KIDS GO IN THERE, THEY DO THEIR THING UNLESS I SIT A SECURITY GUARD TO SIT THERE AND WATCH IT THE ENTIRE TIME. WE. THIS RIGHT HERE PUTS A STRAIGHT LINE VIEW ALL THE WAY TO WHERE WE NEED TO GO, AND WE CAN ACTUALLY MONITOR THESE THINGS. THERE'S A WHOLE BUNCH OF REASONS. THERE'S SELFISH REASONS. WE NEED PARKING SPOTS IN THAT AREA. BUT THEN THERE'S REAL REASONS LIKE LIKE THE WE CAN'T MONITOR THESE PEOPLE. THEY GET HURT ON PROPERTY. AND I DON'T KNOW IF YOU KNOW HOW OFTEN THESE CONDOMINIUMS, EVERY CONDOMINIUM IN THE GULF COAST HAS GOT SOME TYPE OF LAWSUIT, [00:25:02] SOME TYPE OF IT ALWAYS ENDS UP GETTING SETTLED INSTEAD OF US FIGHTING IT. AND THAT'S THAT'S JUST THE WAY IT WORKS. I'VE MANAGED A COUPLE OF THESE CONDOMINIUMS, SO THIS IS TAKING AWAY A LOT OF THAT. WHAT I WANT TO DO ONCE THIS ACTUALLY, IF IT EVER DOES GET APPROVED, WE HAVE THIS WHOLE ENTIRE THING WHERE WE'RE DOING BLUE FOOTPRINTS ALL THE WAY TO WHERE THEY NEED TO GO. WE'RE ONE OF THE OLDEST CONDOMINIUMS ON THIS GULF COAST, AND NOW WE'RE LIKE THE PARTY HAVEN AND THE BAD GUYS AT THE GATE BECAUSE WE TURNED DOWN 70 A DAY. BECAUSE WE'RE THE CONVENIENT ONES. THAT DOES HELP US A LITTLE BIT WITH NOT BEING THE MOST CONVENIENT. BUT IS THAT THE GOAL TO MAKE IT INCONVENIENT? NO, IT'S NOT ENTIRELY THAT, BECAUSE WE COULD ACTUALLY IF ACCORDING TO THE THE THING THAT THEY HAD ON THERE, THERE WAS LIKE WE COULD ACTUALLY GO FURTHER IF IT WAS APPROVED THAN THAT. WE HAVE TO WATCH OUT FOR ALL 200,000 RESIDENTS OF BAY COUNTY, AND EVEN IF THEY'RE YOUNGSTOWN FOUNTAIN, THEY WANT TO GO TO THE BEACH. AND THEY KNOW THIS IS AN ACCESS.
